Your First Visit with Antoniotti Chiropractic
The first time you come to our office, you will be greeted by our wonderful Office Manager, Beth (she’s the friendly voice you spoke to on the phone when scheduling your appointment). Beth will give you the necessary paperwork and assist you with any questions you may have.
Dr. Steve or Dr. Kate will then take you through a full chiropractic evaluation. This is where we not only address your current concerns, but also any past health history, and your future health goals. X-rays may be taken, if deemed necessary.
Our focus on your fist visit is to get to the root cause of your disease. Whether it is pain, lack of energy, headaches, insomnia, etc. Chiropractic care is much more than pain relief, our goal is to improve your overall health and wellbeing. Therefore, we will discuss the connections between how you eat, move, think and supplement.
Prenatal (Pregnancy) Chiropractic: Your first visit to our office will begin an in-depth conversation with Dr. Kate. At the appointment Dr. Kate’s goal is to understand your personal health history, your current health goals, your pregnancy and birth goals, and your vision for your experience from this point forward in your pregnancy and beyond. This conversation will dive into any current health concerns you may have and help both you and Dr. Kate determine a personalized plan for you, depending on your unique needs.
Pediatric Chiropractic: Your child’s first visit to the office will begin with an introduction to our kids room, where our goal is for both you and your child to be able to relax and have a little fun together! We will be able to perform a baseline assessment of your child’s posture, reflexes, and motor patterns through observation and play. Depending on your child’s unique needs, Dr. Kate may need to do a more in-depth analysis of their spine and nervous system using thermography, sEMG, and/or X-ray. We will always communicate clearly with both the child and the parent if any of these additional tools are needed. A major part of your child’s first visit and exam is a detailed history, which we ask about in their intake paperwork, and will address if necessary during the exam. Our goal during your child’s first visit is to determine first if we can help, and then come up with a specific plan based on your child’s unique history and needs.
