MamaCore Class Promotes Health and Community for Post-Partum Mothers

MamaCore is a weekly class taught by Dr. Kate Antoniotti, specifically designed for the needs of post-partum mothers.

The focus of this class is the Core and pelvic floor.  By combining my background in yoga (RYT200), Exercise Science (B.Sc.), and Chiropractic (D.C.), along with principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS); I was able to heal my own Diastasis Rectus Abdominus (DRA – splitting of the abdominal muscles) and post-partum pelvic floor dysfunction. With that experience, I knew I had to share it with my patients and my community.

MamaCore is both a class and a movement. We recognize that women’s healthcare is lacking the guidance, knowledge, and support new mothers need in order to understand the unique changes of their post-partum body. Our class combines the movements to build strength and balance within our bodies, but also the community to build connection and support every mother desires as we navigate the motherhood transition.
